Facts checked on October 2, 2026. Vendor pages change, so confirm anything that matters for your firm in writing.
Buying risk and proposal software is a workflow decision, not a logo decision. You need to know how the firm will score risk tolerance, show portfolio misalignment, package proposals, and keep documentation your reviewer can accept.
This page is a buying checklist based on what Nitrogen Wealth’s public site showed on the check date. Nitrogen Wealth, Inc. formerly operated as Riskalyze, Inc., according to its legal page. This page is not a hands-on product review, and it does not rank Nitrogen against other vendors.
OJay Media Marketing sells marketing to financial advisors, so we have a commercial interest in software topics that advisory firms research. We do not sell Nitrogen Wealth.
What the Risk Number is for
The first buying question is whether a single risk score helps the conversations your firm already runs. Nitrogen Wealth’s Risk Number page describes the Risk Number as an objective, quantitative measurement of an investor’s risk tolerance and the risk in a portfolio, on a scale from 1 to 99.
That framing matters when clients struggle with standard deviations and scatter plots. Bring one household whose portfolio already feels mismatched and ask Nitrogen to show the questionnaire, the portfolio score, and the proposal side by side in the configuration you are buying.
Which centers belong in the proposal
Nitrogen Wealth groups its public catalog into Risk Center, Research Center, Income Center, Tax Center, Legacy Center, and Insurance Center. Risk Center lists tools such as a Risk Tolerance Questionnaire, Statement Capture, Proposal, Lead Gen Questionnaire, Portfolio Risk, Stress Tests, Scenarios, Heatmaps, 401(k) retirement plans, an Advisor Marketing Kit, and IPS report elements on the same public package page used for the figures below.
Treat those labels as a shopping list for a written module map. Ask which centers are required for the workflow your firm will actually run in week one, and which seats or add-ons appear only after go-live.
Nitrogen Wealth also markets Nucleus as AI that connects client insights, executes workflows, and helps advisors get meeting-ready. Ask what Nucleus can and cannot write without an advisor review, and keep that answer in email.
Public package labels to verify in writing
As of October 2, 2026, Nitrogen Wealth’s website listed a $199 monthly figure for Risk Center.
As of October 2, 2026, Nitrogen Wealth’s website listed a $149 monthly figure for Research Center.
As of October 2, 2026, Nitrogen Wealth’s website listed a $99 monthly figure for Income Center, Tax Center, Legacy Center, and Insurance Center.
Ask Nitrogen to put the centers, seat count, and onboarding work for your firm in an email before you treat any public figure as final.
Compare the legal page with the order form
Nitrogen Wealth publishes current service language on its legal page. Ask your reviewer to read that page beside the order form Nitrogen emails to the account owner.
If the public page and the form disagree, trust the written materials and keep asking until they match.
Integrations and data exit
Nitrogen Wealth’s integrations page presents an interactive tech stack builder and describes a large partner catalog. The page HTML checked on October 2, 2026 named eMoney, Orion, and Schwab among integration references.
Do not assume every CRM, custodian, or planning tool your firm uses is covered. Ask Nitrogen for the supported connection for each system you already run, what syncs both ways, and how household records leave the platform when you need a full export.
What to bring to the Nitrogen demo
A demo is useful when you can point to a real job. Start with these questions and refuse vague answers.
- Which centers and seats appear in the written materials for week one, and which items are optional add-ons?
- Can the vendor complete a Risk Number questionnaire, score a held-away statement, and produce a proposal your reviewer would accept?
- Which CRM, custodian, and planning tools have a supported connection today, and what syncs both ways?
- What does Nucleus generate without advisor review, and where does the approval trail live?
- Who trains the team, and who answers day-to-day product questions after go-live?
Those answers belong in an email you can file. Nitrogen Wealth’s homepage is useful orientation, but it does not replace firm-specific written materials.
How to decide
Buy Nitrogen only when the written centers and integrations match the risk conversations and proposal workflow your firm already runs. Keep asking until the public pages and the written materials describe the same package.
If improving how prospective clients find your firm is also on the agenda, we explain the OJay Media Marketing process separately.
